With the December festivity I must admit it left me eating Malva Pudding, Ice-cream, Gammon, Braai, you name it, with absolute no guilty conscious.
Then January 10 kicked in. I don’t believe in resolutions, but more of following through with life goals I’m sure we have all set them prior January 1 at 00:00.
I love Pilate and Yoga, it builds the muscles and great with cardio, believe it or not. Unlike running, pilate tones the muscles while working on cardio.
Here are a few of my favourite exercises I want to share.
1.
2.
3. This definitely works.
4. Do a few reps of these and it will definitely work the gluts.
5. That inner thigh can be such a problem area. However, as much as this looks like one is just laying on the ground. try it.
6. Before working out know what muscle area you want to work on for the day.
7. Put this up on your wall, so that before you start your day you have done these reps.
8.
9. Ballerina’s have the most gorgeous bodies and I reckon some of their moves must definitely be stolen and used in workout sessions.
10. The Pilate excises for everyday.
11.
12. If your legs don’t hurt after leg day, then you have not done anything at all.
13.
14.
15.
16.
It takes the body 21 days to get used to a workout routine. I reckon don’t give up and just stick to it. I guarantee you will love your body 3 months later.
