One of the newest viral video themes to hit the Internet is known as the mannequin challenge. This challenge is basically is what it sounds like, where the whole point of the challenge is to appear like you are temporarily frozen in time. You have to be completely motionless in the mannequin challenge, thus appearing as if you are a mannequin.
Apparently the craze was started by a group of high school from Colony High School in Jacksonville, Florida, last month already. With over 15 000 views on Youtube.
Then the challenge picked up momentum with these high school kids posting their mannequin challenge which also went viral with over 25 000 likes.
The soundtrack to the freeze frame phenomenon got the original squad, Rae Sreemurd making their own 30 second challenge. this one is so cool, they got an entire crowd to participate in their challenge at their concert
