Toke Makinwa is in Town

The moment we have all been waiting for, (well at least me) Toke Makinwa (the original Bonang) has finally come to Mzansi for her On Becoming book tour.

Now Toke originates from Nigeria as a vlogger, turned media mogul. Not only does she vlog on her page – TokeMoments, but she’s also on radio and televison and has recently written a book – On Becoming Toke Makinwa

And if you haven’t seen the vlog take a squizz:

Now that you get my obsession with her, the girl was finally on our shores and she made her first TV interview appearance on SABC 3’s  Trending SA

And as soon as word got around that The Queen was in the city, every media house wanted a piece of her.

The following day she was on SABC 3’s – Real Talk with Anele

But in all honesty the girl could not resist at stopping stop over at the Touch HD studios to take in the views, whilst having an interview.

So the real reason Toke is here is to tells South Africans a bit about herself with her book titled – On Becoming Toke Makinwa (I told you a bit earlier in this post)

The girl is also passionate about standing up for woman’s rights, she has recently divorced her husband and with the recent domestic violence and femicide that’s been taking place in South Africa – the sister girl had to stop over and tell us her story.

Placed at the high class – (yet central) – Hyde Park her talk took place on Saturday with lots of girls very excited to seeing her and interacting with the Nubian Queen who is by the way very welcoming.

But nonetheless that’s my story about Toke and if you still don’t believe me that Bonang is an exact copy of her, feast your eyes.
