Remembering June 16 through film

What’s June 16 without remembering Sarafina.

Well beyond that it’s remembering the class of 1976 and the freedom they fought for.

Unfortunatly each generation has their own struggles and it continues.

Depicting the story of 1976, Sarafina was released in 1992 and now we have Kalushi in 2016. These two films have become storries that tell our history

Kalushi is featured at the Durban International Film Festival till 26 June.
